Xunantunich Mayan Ruin Archeological Site

A place where the past of a great civilization lies buried, a visit to the Xanantunich site known as the "Stone Woman" promises magnificent interactive discoveries. Sitting atop a man-made limestone ridge, this Mayan city will impress you with its pyramidal buildings and stucco frescoes. From the top of the imposing El Castillo, the site's astonishing main building, you can see the picturesque landscapes of the Mopan Valley and the other remains of the city.
