1/2 day excursion! You'll start with a first dive in the world's 2nd largest barrier reef, rich in colorful marine life. You'll swim in the coral garden, a site regularly studied and considered an important refuge for these types of coral in the Caribbean. The variety of fish species weaving their way between the coral flowers adds to the fantasy of the site!
Then on to Manatee Reef, located on the edge of a natural reef channel, where large coral formations form an interesting topography, offering crevices where juvenile marine life can shelter. It's interesting to note the proximity of a natural manatee habitat. So it's often possible to catch a glimpse of these gentle creatures if they happen to be in the area or decide to take a cruise.
Departure times and locations:
Departure from San Pedro: 8.30am - 12pm or 1.15pm - 4.30pm / Meeting point at the Dive Club
