Welcome, taste explorers of Belize!
I’m Tata Duende, mischievous spirit of the forest and guardian of forgotten recipes. For generations, I’ve roamed the jungles and markets of Belize, gathering rare ingredients and preserving the culinary secrets handed down by our elders.
Over time, I’ve created a unique recipe that reflects the cultures that shape our land: Mayan, Creole, Garifuna and many others. But this recipe is not for just anyone. I’ve broken it down and hidden it in San Pedro, a lively city full of mystery.
Today, I challenge you to find it. Follow in my footsteps, solve the riddles, find the clues, taste the typical dishes, and chat with those who keep our traditions alive. At each stage, your senses will be put to the test: observe, smell, taste, interact.
To enjoy the tastings included in each store, you’ll need to show proof of your reservation (invoice or confirmation of payment). This is your key to the gustatory treasures scattered along your path.
Because here, anything can be a clue: an aroma, a whisper, a smile on a street corner…
More than a game, this culinary treasure hunt is an immersive adventure, a sensory journey into the heart of Belize’s soul, guided by my mischief.
So, are you up for the challenge? Let the hunt begin… now!
