Barton Creek Cave & Big Rocks Falls or Pools
From: $90.00 VAT included
Explore Barton Creek Cave, a Mayan underworld accessible only by canoe.
There, aboard your canoe and equipped with flashlights, you'll set off into the heart of a peaceful, ancient kingdom to discover this cave. You'll see a glittering crystal formation and learn more about Mayan history, archaeology and geology.
After lunch, you'll head off to discover Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve, a natural wonderland with panoramic views. Big Rock Falls is a great waterfall that attracts those who like to swim and jump off cliffs. The falls are reached by a short but challenging 15-minute hike. The trek is quite steep with a railing and rope to hold and assist on the way down. The deep emerald pools are perfect for swimming or cliff jumping, and the water is very deep, so there's little risk of hitting the bottom when jumping.
The waterfalls are yours to swim in.
